Even leaving any politics at all aside: as general rule, no state can allow a group of masked men to be able to close down critical infrastructure. This is basic stuff.
According to the Israeli government, 'repercussions' from the UK stopping trading with illegal settlers on stolen land means they won't commit terrorist acts against the British like they did in 1948, but they will encourage others to attack us.
