The IRA was good policy. And it would have been better -- and had faster & more dramatic results -- if not constrained & blunted by the idiosyncratic assholery of one dimwit egotistical senator. Just because it couldn't stop a global tsunami of discontent doesn't mean it "didn't work."
Mike Rogers was born in Michigan and spent most of his life in Michigan. so why is AES calling him Mike from Florida? well, Rogers moved to Florida in 2022 and basically has only come back to run for office. so good luck explaining how that’s an unfair hit, Mikey

Yeah I find this odd. Centrist Dems do win! It’s part of what makes it frustrating, that we have nearly a dozen Dems in the Senate who are routinely a stumbling block to a more progressive agenda. THAT is the reason to want AES, not because centrist Dems never win.
