This is what we mean when we say #transrightsarehumanrights. Laws like this affect EVERYONE. They don't want any women playing sport. They want women trapped in the home.

Every. single. woman. has played nice and attempted to placate an angry man they are forced to interact with in personal or work life. Hell, when a creep at work commented on my appearance recently, I just said "thank you." I didn't welcome the comments, but I didn't know what else to do right then.

I’m astonished by the ability of my fellow humans to forget the events we all just lived through. Folks remember the masks and the remote school. The million US dead are rarely mentioned. Folks, we lived through a plague.
The world that the anti-vax/covid denialists live is one where children live in a vacuum. You can’t just throw out the facts that: the disease was spreading exponentially, vulnerable adults were both at school and at home, and it is much more damaging to lose a parent than to lose a school year.

Quite telling how every argument for AI data centers is transparent bullshit. It creates no lasting jobs or population movement at all. Literally no reason for any place to allow it unless the community extracts massive perpetual cash payments in return.
