One highways manager told the High Court she had been placed on medication after becoming “fearful of being followed home, tracked and exposed on social media”. Highways staff now wear unbranded PPE, work in unbranded vehicles, wear face coverings to hide their identity, and do not travel alone.

Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.

But I didn’t want Cadburys to taste like shite, that’s been imposed on me. Mondolez made $2.4 billion last year they could have swallowed some of the higher cocoa costs, but didn’t, and more importantly, now costs are lower, they won’t reinstate the quality will they?

I think my most genuinely unpopular take is that a widely held and genuine consumer preference for cheaper, lower-quality goods, not private equity, is driving the decline in quality of consumer goods like clothing and housewares.

rod liddle was so transphobic that he was censured by the *british* press regulator, becoming the first journalist to be censured for attacking a representative group, rather than an individual. get fucked you dead cunt

They think they're being clever eugenicists by saying that people with "underlying health issues" don't matter, but >75% of U.S. adults have a chronic condition (including 60% of age 18–34). So what they're really saying is "nobody matters, it's okay if everybody dies from inadequate regulation."

Breaking News: Two deaths in Michigan have been linked to cyclospora. Both people who had the parasite also had underlying health issues.

lrt: i’ve known ben goldacre was a twat since whenever it was my ex got me a signed copy of one of his books and he addressed it to “[deadname] - if that really is how you spell it” sorry for having had a non traditionally spelt name but sure you can scribble that in a book

I mean yeah if I disagree with you that child sexual abuse material should be legal, that pregnant women should be punched and thrown down stairs, that relentless, vicious bigotry is a ‘career’ then I’ll drag your dead arse thru the mud and go back to my dinner

Sad to see people posting on social media negatively about Rod Liddle, who died yesterday. If I have disagreed with you very strongly in life - and you die - I hope I'll be either silent, or kind.

here's a fun lil exercise for cis people: how many articles would a publication have to print calling for your extermination before you would expect people who care about you to stop giving them money? and how would you feel if their excuse for still supporting them is some fuckass crossword puzzle?

Once again for those at the back: ‘Don’t speak ill of the dead’ is about your great aunt Elsie, who liked a long gin with a short tonic at elevenses, and blew your inheritance money betting on the horses. Speaking ill of absolute monsters is a moral obligation, actually.
