It’s not disingenuous to point out that the NYT did not run a single front page story of the Minab bombing. You don’t dispute this claim because it’s true. And the story that you reference on your webpage does not attribute blame to US/Israel and frames it as an allegation by “Iranian state media”

This is a disingenuous attack. In the wake of the strike, we began working to verify videos and images, publishing a detailed report hours later that showed the scale of destruction and children killed in Minab. This story spent 12 hours on our homepage on Sunday. 1/3 www.nytimes.com/2025/03/01/w...

“direct your anger at trump not the democrats” buddy you are severely underestimating the amount of anger i have available to me

Hilarious editorial today by Amit Segal in Israel Hayom that posits that Khamenei is about to "pull a Hitler" and fire everything the Axis of Resistance has at once, including having a million-man Houthi army invade Israel through Jordan.

genius strategy by elizabeth warren and company to stand up and clap for trump saying people shouldn't make exorbitant money off of being in congress, setting herself up to be humiliated for being willing to stand up and clap for him, before he immediately went to start attacking somalis

*****LOCAL NYC OBSERVATION, IF NON-NYC, PLEASE IGNORE***** Pedestrian crossings got completely cleared within hours over where I am in Upper Manhattan, when after the last big snowfall a couple weeks back, it took days. Nice to see actual, obvious improvement in a city service.

So it's ok to start a war illegally against a nation of 92 million, for whom you have "no sympathy" as long as the purpose is clear? The Big Dem line that Trump is a demented fascist domestically while simultaneously agreeing his foreign policy decisions just isn't gonna cut it anymore.

i've decided not to listen to the audio of a teacher reporting a kindergartender because frankly I don't want to become the person that that event would turn me into. but one thing I hope we are collectively coming to grips with is what it meant that we have lived among such people this whole time

New: A comedian set up a fake ICE tip line as a joke. Then 100 calls flooded in: neighbors ratting on neighbors, a teacher reporting a kindergartener. Fans say the viral TikToks revealed deportation's "banality of evil." Conservatives say he should be in prison wapo.st/4kM4qbF

A perfect and beautiful evocation of the childhood feeling of seeing your friends on the small screen suddenly make it to the big one, going on a grandiose adventure no other kind of screen could possibly hold. Run, don't walk!
