I cannot stress enough: the AI bubble has already popped it is just being kept on life support by corporations trying to squeeze even a dollar more out of their shit investment, and tech bros doing the same before abandoning their shit company startups. keep hating on AI, you're winning

Report Suggests Nearly No One Is Buying AI Generated Goods https://kotaku.com/3d-model-markets-are-being-flooded-with-ai-sellers-but-no-ones-buying-2000724790

"Marvel is making people watch 41 hours of movies as homework for the new avengers!?!?!?" Or, just go see the movie. Cyclops leads the X-Men and shoots lasers out of his eyes. That's all you need to know about him and that's basically how every character that's going to be in the movie works.

Read an article yesterday by a freelance editor talking about how they had added a premium for editing AI fiction. Editors, please don’t do this! Do not be a part of humanwashing AI slop.

I also want to add that every single time ICE has physically hurt me, they have grabbed me by my chest. Most of my femme friends have said the same. I will not be surprised if / when we find out about twisted sexual assaults conducted by ICE agents with these gloves.

Wow. Proponents of the ICE taser gloves are openly saying that one reason they love the gloves is that they doesn’t leave any marks or proof that they were used, making it harder for people to sue when they’re shocked excessively.

not content with hounding Jason Arday to death, today, the media in the shape of the NYT has published a concern trolling piece about the "questions that Cambridge has to face re race, autism, and hiring" wherein they paint targets on more scholars because why the fuck not Have you not done enough?

One influential member of the hiring panel, the child psychiatrist Paul Ramchandani, had published a paper on music therapy for children with autism. Given his expertise, he would have been in position to question Dr. Arday’s assertion that he learned to speak at 11 and read at 18, said Howard Shane, the director emeritus of the Center for Communication Enhancement at Boston Children’s Hospital.

“That should raise a red flag,” he said in an interview early this week. “There’s no question about that.”

Dr. Ramchandani and others on the panel did not respond to requests for comment.

The committee hired Dr. Arday, in a decision that the education department chair described at the time as unanimous. Cambridge’s lengthy hiring announcement highlighted his remarkable personal story, which garnered media coverage on both sides of the Atlantic.

Shopify's CEO, Tobi Lutke, publicly mused about taking away the right to vote from the poor and pensioners. He's been increasingly involved in efforts to influence Canadian politics. Now I'm exposing how, through its e-commerce services, his company helps unsavoury characters line their pockets.

I'm impatient and maybe better off staying with what I know. So i'm self publishing the cyberpunk novel. A new chapter is going to go up every other week from now on with a brand new sketch to go along with it! Welcome to the Mega Metro. Enjoy your stay. www.patreon.com/SneezePsycho...
