Well, that was rough, but I've learned a few things: 1) There is a movement in Wisconsin waiting to be tapped 2) If a campaign has actual meaningful policy, lots of people will engage with it 3) 85% of the analyses you see from people who don't live here are total bullshit

an openly socialist candidate for governor came within a single percentage point of beating the leading centrist candidate with the support of the sitting governor and fundraising groups from both parties. IN WISCONSIN. if you told me that would happen two years ago, i'd say you were full of shit.

Massachusettes "Millionaires Tax", which was targeted to fund transportation and education, has been a resounding success. It has funded FREE school lunch for ALL students, FREE buses in lowest income communities (people can get to work, etc.), and FREE community college. And "exodus" was minimal.
