Ethical art is art that treats everyone involved in the process (from materials to production to creative labor) fairly and with respect—not art that adheres to a specific set of content guidelines. Don't confuse genre trappings or marketing buzzwords with the real obligations we have to each other.

hhhh really don't like the deployment of the word "ethical" here. Reading dark and fucked up fiction with bad and evil things in it isn't "unethical," nor are books which contain no such dark themes more "ethical" in nature. This is Hays Code rhetoric, it's the kinda shit Moms For Liberty would post

"Miles Egdeworth only meant to offer assistance to the investigation of the serial kidnappings, but when Simeon Saint, is unwittingly involved, will Miles become once more a rotten convict's knight in shining armor?" Chapter 6 of 'Take the Fall', a SoutaMitsu fic, is already out!

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
