We’re taking a moment to appreciate the work in communities in Wales, London and Scotland as part of our #HopeAndHealing project. Colleagues, volunteers and community members have contributed to a zine to reflect on the themes of hope, healing, connection and community. You can read the zine here:

So happy to have my article exploring austerity and the way forward for the Valleys included in this ebook. There's heartbreaking real-life examples of austerity's impact, the cruel economics and its impact on Wales & hope for building a way forward. Well worth a read! payhip.com/b/9eklJ?fbcl...

🔥 The UK is in another heatwave — and the government is failing the people most at risk. Tomorrow, MPs are voting over whether to push through devastating disability benefit cuts, which will mean future generations will receive less support than Disabled people today. 🧵below.

'If Cymru truly wants to be a Nation of Sanctuary it needs a First Minister who isn’t silently complicit in the hostile environment created by her counterparts in Westminster. And we need to stand up and say to refugees and to all who want to come here: “Croeso!”' bylines.cymru/voices-lleis...

A compassionate Cymru: croeso to refugees and migrants

What kind of Wales do we want? A place of high walls and locked doors? Or of warm welcomes and compassionate communities? We’ll make that choice soon enough

Doing the printing and labelling today for the Outsiders gallery in a box. The @workersgallery.bsky.social will be taking it out to care homes using a cargo bike so people who can’t attend in person can see and interact with the work. Great initiative which we are proud to support.

Delighted to say that the Outsiders exhibition will be shown at The Workers Gallery in Wales from June to August 2025. Really pleased to be working with such a well respected and responsible team.

An off-white uneven
 textured background with Outsiders
depicted in a black stencil design at
top. Below is a photographic image
depicting a head shot photo in grey
scale of a person with a large beard.
The portrait is on dark grey surface
 with cigarette stubs scattered around
and a disposable coffee cup partially
visible at top right. The image is
 partially reflected below.

Deep state: the underlying objectives of austerity The architects of austerity didn’t just want to reduce debt or asset-strip the welfare state and privatise anything that moved. The cuts go deep, into people’s very minds. ✍️ Nick Hubble bylines.cymru/voices-lleis...
