for me, a key part of getting up to speed as a new leader is meeting 1:1 each person in my new org. this takes a fair bit of time: about 50 hours at @tailscale.com, many thanks to my intrepid EA for the calendar heroics! it's worth it, though, for a few reasons: 🧵

if it's that important, your build scripts should be breaking if it's part of the ci / test, it's where the worst people you nkow have set up the defaults, they're terrible, and all the code is now filled with // lint:ignore around "calling await in a loop"
