Unfortunately, this right here should be FULLSTOP enough reason to stop using ai. But the livelihood of Black folks are seldom cared about. When I speak to folks about how it poisons people, utilizes Anglo-American eugenics, wastes water, and is purposely used for misinformation… it is not enough.

Best art advice I ever got was from Mark Mayerson at Sheridan saying something to the effect of “if you don’t make your film about something you like to draw, you aren’t going to have much fun drawing it all year”

Nothing is more depressing than watching young artists give other young artists advice like “only use one colour palette in everything you do to have a more recognizable brand” and “draw everything with a target audience in mind”
