Do white people ever think, "I wonder what it would be like if every book I read or TV or film only had Black people in them?" Just constantly inundated with images of Black people, in our vastness. Probably not, but, I dare say, it would change how they view everything. Representation matters.

You can blame Trump, yet Americans have always had a pattern of putting up with, ignoring, then moving on. Except Black Americans. We have always had to fight. What some deem progressive (of this era, tech), we see as the divide widening. Now it just happens quicker.

Nobody wants predictive data models to stop working for the people in medicine. Or translating ancient Pompeii texts. Or the other ways we were already using it. We want it to stop replacing workers, killing the environment, and stealing from artists. Hope that clarifies.
