If I’m out of town for a week or two when something comes out there is a strong chance it will be down to two screenings at shitty hours by the time I’m back. Shrinking the theatrical window for streaming was a huge mistake. Give people time to pay to see your movie.

Are the movies the problem? Sure, somewhat. But I continue to maintain the decline in box office isn't scarcity of product but the short theatrical window. The casual moviegoer will not go to the theater if they can see it on a streaming in a matter of weeks. They just won't.
