“Obama was opposed to gay marriage, give it time, don’t seek perfection on trans issues from Dems.” Yeah, but gay marriage was a new right LGBT people were seeking. Sports, bathrooms, and IDs are something trans people have had for decades. Going BACKWARDS Is the opposite of the Obama comparison.

The thing about controlled double-blind studies is that they're for the type of intervention where the difference is subtle enough that it's at risk of being statistical noise. Not "I get to live as myself and it makes my life better"

I hate how the only way to succeed in this world is at the expense of others. That's why all the most successful people in the world are largely incapable of empathy or kindness. You have to be willing to throw others under the bus to get what you want. But for many people it's hard to do that.
