I am recently politically almost nihilistic for many reasons based in the reality the trends that dominate and bind progress. But even in the exasperated breaths I share about the obviousness of need for reform, I take no action because that is even irrelevant.
So the rest of us should just wait in line? You just spill out your hierarchy of human life out loud like its normal?
I will reiterate: Christians in the West evangelize in public for the same reason men catcall. Neither is trying to persuade you; both are reminding you that the public sphere belongs to them and you exist in it at their sufferance.
Today I'm thinking more on the idea of giving up comfort and convenience to chase a dream. Technically this is me but I never felt it was a choice as the alternatives were not worth it. However, yesterday I realized I was ready to essentially throw my dreams away previously.

For the record, my identity is androgyne and I present urse. I get euphoria from specific features of mine I consider masculine, feminine, a mix, and neither. I also have sexual characteristics that make the masculine features overwhelmingly obvious and lack resources to bolster the others now.
Feeling frustrated this morning with how dialogue around some marginalized minority gender identities are spoken about on bsky, even within the community as a whole. I even ended up unfollowing the source of how I found the conversation.
Sometimes a tech company (or a research lab, or whomever), will stick something shiny on a portion of that blob and the media will zoom in on it with their cameras. Then the chorus of AI boosters will shout in admiration about how the whole thing is beautiful and amazing. >>
