Feels absolutely ridiculous to be posting about movies/ pimping my reviews right now tbh...but David Cronenberg's THE SHROUDS is a movie that's haunted me over several viewings and I hope folks make the effort to see it. Opens this weekend NY/LA, nationally 4/25 www.rollingstone.com/tv-movies/tv...

'The Shrouds' Is David Cronenberg's Most Personal Movie Since 'The Fly'

The filmmaker channels his own grief into a thriller about high-tech gravesites, corporate espionage, and the horror of saying goodbye to a loved one.

I know that there is a vacuum of SINNERS hype right now (which I’m personally a part of) but don’t let it drown out how great THE SHROUDS is. It’s easily one of Cronenberg’s best and is a must see if it’s playing near you. I saw it on a big screen a few months ago and can’t wait to see it again.

“Beware the tendency to approach each new film as a product to be evaluated and rated like a gaming console. It ill-serves art in general, but especially art like ‘The Shrouds.’ where the core of the work is so private, personal, and raw.”

FLOW is nominated for two Academy Awards®! Congratulations to Ron Dyens, Matiss Kaza, Gregory Zalcman and Gints Zilbalodis on their nominations for Best Animated Feature Film and Best International Feature Film! #Oscars
