One tears up our local infrastructure and is a threat to people outside of it. The other weaves into the urban fabric, accomplishing a lot and asks for very little.

The onus is on drivers to keep people safe in individual situations. But is on city leaders to design roadways so that these types of incidents are less common. Minneapolis is targeting zero traffic deaths by design. Helsinki hasn't had one in 21 months, by design. St Paul, it's time to commit.
