Ran into a frustrating issue with nf-core/pacvar today: it crashed saying the bam file was malformed. Took a minute of digging but pbalign depends on pbbam, which has a hard-coded check for instrument names that hasn't been updated in years. We have Vega data that wasn't included in the check...
