The cranberries song "Let it Linger" was actually a tribute to popular internet animation "Lettuce Finger".
Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!
if you want to experience comics for a minute, MAKE is on at Kensington Town Hall and there are so many cool artists selling their work and it's on until 4pm and it's wonderful

Great to see the first MAKE so full. Every tabler I spoke to said it was going good for them. Fun to see new stuff I wouldn't have otherwise.
Went to the MAKE launch event and it was great. All bangers. Felt like I had to force myself to go because I am so very tired of everything and it was a nice reminder that it's sometimes worth leaving the house.
