She/her, Oregon, USA. White cubicle drone scraping by learning ASL. Genuine zoo & aquarium pics/video ONLY. If you want to peruse real animal media, that's nearly 100% of my Media tab. I try to add image descriptions. Correct me if one is wrong.
I will treasure my supply of Leader in Blue (green tea, freeze-dried apple, spicy ginger, blue pea flower). May have to order some Teen Wonder as well (yaupon holly, black tea, pink peppercorn, osmanthus, natural vegan cream flavoring).
Retiring Summer blends list just came out! YES there are some darlings on this list. We have our reasons. Count on retired faves coming back w/semi-regularity! Remember: every blend we've ever made is available by request with a $5/item flat fee at any time. www.fridaytea.com/collections/...
I said, “The Transport doesn’t know what the hell it’s talking about, plus it lies a lot, and it’s mean.” A minute, undetectable in the range of human eyesight, fluctuation in the lights told me ART had heard that.
I was tired of pretending to be human. I needed a break. #murderbot #tmbd #themurderbotdiaries #fanart #illustration
So glad I have this saved for easy retrieval
WAIT FOR IT WAIT. FOR. IT! 🪶 🐣
Lets give it up for corn's favorite snake... The corn snake!!
“herping”: normal, intelligible, probably a cool person ”mammaling”: sounds like a weird euphemism for breastfeeding , deranged
I love you all but you are incredibly (understandably) reactive. It’s making you SO easily manipulated by rage baiters. When you see something without context, a headline or a snippet of a quote, take a deep breath and look into it to see if you really should be upset. Please protect your hearts.
It's Textile Tuesday, and you know what that means: a piece by artist Faig Ahmed called "The Dragons of Karabakh" that's woven to look like an antique Central Asian carpet is melting off the wall into a puddle. More about the artist here: faigahmed.com
> Happy Vancouver Pride from the Brazilian rainbow 🌈 boa! This boa gets its name from the shimmering, iridescent effect of its scales, causing it to shift through a rainbow of colours as the light hits it from different angles. [via Vancouver Aquarium]

Happy #OwlAwarenessDay! 🦉 Meet 21-year-old Eurasian eagle owl Forrest, who can be seen soaring right over guests' heads during our daily animal show. As one of the largest owl species in the world, Forrest is as impressive as he is majestic.
One thing @shivaniswriting.bsky.social and I have in common is a love of sharks, so when I found these enormous shark rubies as earrings, I knew I had to grab them and make pendants for me and Shiv. 😆 Shiv has legit gone on shark tagging excursions.
I think I'm going to be Very Brave and try to depict a plant or an animal with embroidery instead of sticking to pure abstraction once I've finished a couple of projects. Gotta improve somehow!
The skull of a Flat-tail horned lizard (Phrynosoma mcallii), close relative of the 'Texas horny-toad', native to the Sonoran desert. Unlike the thorny spikes on the body that are made of modified skin keratin, head spikes (horns) are bony skeletal structures covered in keratin. (📷: Emily Chebul)
Green cheeks are proof that birds remember in their DNA that they were once dinosaurs and they are SO FUCKING ANGRY that they aren't predators anymore.
You walk into Brushfeather's office. "Watch your feet." ??? She taps the sign hanging above: #parrotSky

Who knew predators could be this pretty? 🩷✨ The abyssal comb jelly (Beroe abyssicola) patrols the midnight zone searching for its favorite food—other comb jellies. When Beroe finds their next meal, rows of tiny cilia lining their mouths act like teeth, helping them grip onto their prey.
Or I could just get a true ref pack since they DO have costumed refs and it's their birthday. On one hand, i'd have to continue to get better at digital art, on the other hand, fashion. Hmmm.
