I want my writing to be the primary thing a reader engages with, not my Instagram profile be for real. I know we’re going through a literacy crisis but good goddamn dumbing everything down isn’t gonna help!
Also re: rewatching Twin Peaks: The Return and watching film classics: It is so refreshing to watch something that hasn’t been dumbed down for an audience that is half paying attention, half on their phones
Watching Ep 8 of Twin Peaks: The Return and I’m catching some cool references to Cocteau’s Black Orpheus! It really opens up some interpretation for me. I love rewatching things after I’ve seen other classics. Film studies is so fascinating
