Reminder once again that the bacon recall is not because there is anything wrong with the bacon. No one has gotten sick. It's because the US government is in a pissing match with Canada. The bacon was inspected in Canada, and I'd trust their standards over ours right now.

Um. The reason for the recall is that this is from Canada, inspected in Canada, and the US didn't do a re-inspection. The bacon is likely fine. There's no connection to any kind of illness, unless you consider bureaucratic dick measuring an illness.
