Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

One of the best things you can do for an author is check their book out of the library. If your library doesn't have the title, requesting it is also great! Never apologize. The library bought the book! Sometimes more than one! Because of you!

Never ever apologize for getting someone's book from the library. A lot of them were written by authors who themselves first read a lot of other books in a library

one month. not gonna lie the anxiety is ANXIETYING today. what if no one buys my book? what if no one comes to my events? what if i burn myself out trying to move a needle i can’t move???????? but i have worked for this my whole life & i Knew that Halls would be The Book™️ so. also excited!
