Castlevania: Belmont's Curse (PS5, 27 hrs): Absolutely gorgeous lighting and color. High friction combat and traversal, satisfying to master. The whip is a blessing and a curse. Controls aren't always tight. The penultimate boss was EXCESSIVE. Immaculately dramatic creepy atmosphere.

Strange Jigsaws (100%) (Steam Deck, 4 hours): Meta puzzles upon meta puzzles. It's jigsaws all the way down. The menus, the UI, everything. Very strange. But I did save the day.

Well Dweller (100%) (PS5, 15 hours): The Thompson magnum opus. The grim fairy tale setting perfectly synergizes with the style of the art and writing and music. Creative satisfying movement upgrades and excellent incentives—systems that motivate completion. Horrifying bosses.
