You cannot design away bad players in a tabletop rpg. You cannot build enough guard rails to stop bad faith play. The only rule that helps is, "Play With Better People." Because those guard rails suck for every good faith player that has to bump into them, design for the people who WANT to PLAY.
One of my all-time favorite rules, from Pea Ridge (1980). The designer's great-great-grandfather fought in the battle, and if his unit takes damage you roll a die to see if he survives. If he dies, the designer is never born, and the game doesn't exist, and so automatically ends in a draw.

I strongly feel that they are essentially acting out Roark's tantrum from The Fountainhead. They would rather tear the entire thing down than have it exist in a form other than the exact one they favour. (The fact that a lot of the Business Bros are literal Rand fans doesn't help the matter)

In 'Hyper Competence' you have four stats: Talking, Killing, Finding, Making All rolls are made with D6's. 1 - 5: No result 6: GM tells you the answer. The objective of the game is to have a sense of accomplishment, which is impossible because only failure has meaning but only success feels good.
