People aren’t alarmed enough on what’s going on with our Black Youth. Suicide rates in kids has gone down 7% but up 30% with Black kids. We yell Black lives matter and our youth does NOT feel it.
i remember a few years ago when this premiered & being both taken aback but unsurprised how many people only first learned about the Black wall street massacre (then learning rosewood, lake lanier, etc) are real things that happened in this country within the last century
I do not apologize for being angry and Black and “making everything about race.” They are lynching us, literally and systematically. Nobody’s discomfort is ever gonna be prioritized over that with me.
