Let me puzzle out your mysteries. Don't be afraid to leave things mysterious. Not every question needs an answer. Ambiguity is cool! The novel is a project between author and reader, and the more I am trusted as a reader, the greater respect I give the author.
If enough people react or reply to this, I'll go back to making a vaguely strategic game with a 'theme' of magical battles. Tiles and cards and fancy meeples. AMA
I understand why estate agents don't mention this kind of thing, but it does make every house description a potential minefield. ( not quite literally, but some I've seen have been close )
Dr Malice@atarbuck.bsky.social · 9h agoIM GOING TO BOOK A VIEWING. It’ll go for wayyyyy over bc of the area (easily 200, I think) but I just want to see! A lifetime of fascination with this building. Also i note they aren’t discussing the fact they’re currently building houses basically opposite which will obscure the light.
I wonder if there's a counter to this, by reassuring younger people that they'll develop these features in time, and just to be patient - rather than portraying age as something to be fixed...

The GPS being unavailable was in a NOTAM which they would have gotten on the ground. They were unable to hold an altitude which has nothing to do with GPS. All pilots must fly & land without GPS. If you can't, do not fly.
I'll tell you something, which won't immediately seem related to Revolver. When I was 16, I still hadn't caught the bus into town on my own. Scared of the interaction with the driver - what if it goes wrong? What if I forget what the coins mean? & everyone on the bus is basically your audience.

I am genuinely ASTONISHED at the number of mainstream ‘normal’ journos fawning about Rod Liddle. Just cos someone is nice to YOU or can string a decent sentence together doesn’t excuse their revolting / irresponsible behaviour. Such a terrible look. This is good tho

#Qubes project: I have just discovered that Bottles exists. This apparently means I can just run software intended for Windows if I need to. Next up: is there a Mac equivalent? I’m enjoying the Linux ecosystem but a few transplants would make my life that much easier.

He makes a point of complimenting the current users (us). I don't want to go overboard praising him, but none of this sounds to me like he's selling us out.
With all due respect to "jw" I've no idea this is true... but it feels more likely than hot responses to an edited clip from a media organisation ... let's see what narrative thrives on here... ;)
