As someone who doesn't really want to engage with UB cards, its increasingly obvious that I'll never again have anything approaching an all-in build on a strat. Every archetype is now going to have half the "good" cards be UB and so I'll always be playing jank versions of decks. So fun...

How Wizards/Hasbro/whoever decides to handle Secret Lair Drops continues to be a hostile and excruciating experience for those that opt-in to it and an incredibly disappointing experience to those who simply come too late. They really need to do something about this. Return to print to demand.

In case it wasn't clear, my opinion of the TMNT set is that I wish it didn't exist, but that I will do my best to embrace it and the decks built with it. Also, it is a mechanically superior set to Spider-Man, but has similar art and flavor issues. I am looking forward to Strixhaven.

I feel like folks didn’t appreciate Sunburst until the Counter Intelligence precon dropped. I am absolutely in love with Sunburst now, it’s so simple but can be huge in some situations.

TMNT at my LGS was actually pretty big which surprised me. It looked like a pretty interesting set having watched a few games but again it just felt bad having another UB set as opposed to an in-universe set // a set that fit better with Magic’s fantasy aesthetic.

I hope that UB fails and I'm not sorry to say that 🤷🏼♂️ I just feel bad for the LGSs themselves, since they're losing money from this.
I had this TV as a kid. I had completely forgotten about having had this TV until this post reminded me. This post singlehandedly unlocked an entire part of my childhood I forgot was there.

I've owned a PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5. I owned a PSP Go. I owned both models of Vita. I even briefly owned a second PS2 for playing import games. Sony, you gotta give me a reason to buy your next system and "We're firing every studio that makes games that you like" ain't it.

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.
