every elected oficial should have a gun pointed at their head 24/7 and the people should be able to vote at *any time* on whether or not to pull the trigger i bet they'd stop making campaign promises they don't intend to work towards, i bet they'd stop accepting bribes to flip stances, etc

i think every marginalized group should elect like 10-1000-ish representatives per group, and their job should be that- if any govt official proposes a law or makes a decision that harms even 1 member of their respective group we should get to *legally* kill said govt official.

we urgently need to reckon with the fact that people are able to spend money on political ads to push a ballot initiative and fairly reliably, the amount of money they spend is proportional to the amount of influence they can expect to have we need better mechanisms to prevent buying elections
