The Texas Children's "detransition clinic" settlement is out and among its many requirements is that TCH keeps two lists of patients who have any mention of “gender dysphoria” in their medical records: a "Break the Glass" list and a "potential GAC patient list" with an unspecified purpose

“Break the Glass” Patient List. TCH shall maintain a confidential, access-restricted
patient list (the “Break the Glass List” or “BTG List”), which shall include all
patients—regardless of payor type, including without limitations patients covered by
commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, or any other governmental payor
program—who have one or more ICD-10 diagnosis codes within the F64.xx code
category (Gender Identity Disorders/Gender Dysphoria) appearing anywhere in such
patient’s medical records or claims history maintained by or accessible to TCH. The
obligations imposed in this section shall remain effective for a period of 10-years.

Potential GAC Patient List. In addition to the F64.xx codes specified in subsection
(j), TCH shall create a supplemental “Potential GAC Patient List” within 30-days of
the Effective Date to include any patient who has one or more diagnosis codes, however
denominated, appearing in such patient’s medical records or claims history that are

identified in Exhibit C to this Agreement (“OAG Designated Codes”). Within thirty
(30) days of the Effective Date, TCH shall query its full medical records and claims
history, including records predating the Effective Date of this Agreement, to identify
all patients with any OAG Designated Codes in their history, and shall add all such
patients to the Potential GAC Patient List. The obligations in this section shall remain
effective for a period of 10-years.

To O’Mara, the diet is not just a temporary means of losing weight but a way to eat for good. He has been doing it for 10 years, and credits it with turning his life around. At one point in our conversation he pulled up the Bristol Stool Chart, which ranges from Type 1 (“separate, hard pellets”) to Type 7 (“watery, no solid pieces”). O’Mara is consistently delivering Type 4 (“smooth, soft, like a snake”), with pointed ends, indicative of healthy rectal function, he told me. “When you start eating healthy, you don’t need toilet paper,” he claimed. “Animals in the wild have no residual stool on their anus.” He described a proper bowel movement to me this way: odorless, wipe-free, over in three to seven seconds and “nearly orgasmic.”

“I could have a bowel movement behind a sheet at a dinner party in the corner of the room,” he said, “and nobody would know.”

2. DO NOT MENTION ALPR USAGE IN YOUR REPORT OR COMPLAINT UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. If asked a direct question about ALPR usage by someone such as an attorney, tell the truth.
a) If it is necessary to explain in a report, it is advised to use language such as "Using County resources, I discovered the suspect vehicle was bearing Iowa plate..."
b) Treat the ALPR information like you would intelligence. It is simply a lead that you verified and acted on.

This rhetoric is ideal for listeners who believe trans women are an issue that they're supposed to care about, but don't actually have any real-world experience with them. The hypothetical trans girl who's supposedly causing all this trouble in the WNBA is the perfect tool for the conservative movement. She can't fight back, she can't disprove anyone's assumptions, and she can't garner sympathy when she's the target of hate. The perfect trans girl is the one who only exists in the imagination of the loudest cis people. Her monstrousness, the need to "protect young girls in a locker room" from her, gives them permission to enact policies that in reality only harm the anonymous girls, cis and trans, who want to play sports without the invasive scrutiny of gender-obsessed adults.
