I read the entire Strain trilogy since this post apparently. Shit was wild. The first half of the first book was nearly identical to the TV series and then it moved further and further from the story line the further into the book series it got. Need a new series to read now.

Currently audiobooking dungeon crawler Carl series. At night I read aloud the 3 body problem to both of us. Been a success getting me back to reading books.
