How's the face ratio in the new Spider-Man? <--- what I want when I see a spidey film what I get when I see a spidey film --->

WHAT I WANT:
Spider-Man zishing about, dressed as Spider-Man, in his cool Spider-Man costume (these are sketches I drew)

WHAT I GET:
Spider-Man in costume for a few seconds of swinging, then lands on a roof and takes a couple of steps towards camera while pulling his mask off. He pulls his mask off in almost every scene, barely seen with it on, because the lead actor's agent is waving fancy contracts around. I have drawn the three actors who played Spider-Man with their faces out.

Once you've noticed this it's parodic how often they come up with excuses for him not to have the mask on. In the Tom Holland ones there's often whole reasons why he isn't wearing his suit at all!

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) - Not sure if it's my favourite live-action Spidey, but it's for sure in the conversation - and comfortably my favourite of the Tom Holland ones.
