This plane landed in Myanmar about three hours ago. This is the third ICE flight to Myanmar this year. Burmese deportees in 2025 were immediately sent to a torture facility next to the airport, according to Myanmar Now. Weeks later, not all of them had emerged.

I studied climate change at uni in the 90’s - we’ve been very aware of the consequences for over 30 years. Sadly fossil fuel lobbyists & journalists smeared leading scientists & set us back decades.

We knew this was coming more than 40 years ago yet we continued to sell off reservoirs to developers. We had the wettest winter in years but, thanks to insufficient storage, we have literally nothing left in the tanks.
