‘But it will work’ The French won’t allow you ‘But it will work’ The French won’t allow you ‘But it will work’ The French won’t allow you

That people feel emboldened to direct such racist language at anyone, let alone people like you offering them their care, is a damning indictment of how far-right rhetoric has poisoned public life. To anyone who abuses NHS staff: you will be caught, and you will face the full force of the law.

"I said it's a bold move by Reform to use the Navy to return migrants. What did I say Roy?" "You said it's an unworkable load of bollocks designed to win back some racist numbskulls from Rupert Lowe and distract attention from Farage's £5m bung"

What the hell is the BBC 6pm news doing leading with Farage's clickbait about using the Royal Navy to stop immigrants? An absurd soundbite from a tiny party with a disgraced leader and that's the most important news in the UK today? Dear God. The rot has truly gone deep.

We are in the third drought in five years. We have the National Trust and NFU - those radical types - sounding the alarm on unprecedented temperatures. But so little from any single figure in politics talking about the climate crisis.

Rebekah Brooks, CEO of News UK, herself cleared of phone hacking charges in 2014, called Liddle "an inimitable journalistic force." That's one word for it. The word most of his targets would use is unprintable. He had a long career. The women, minorities & disabled people he mocked have longer scars

According to Luke Tryl on Radio 4 disillusioned Reform voters think Farage is “just the same as the rest” on the corruption front. But he isn’t is he? He’s exponentially worse. And his grifter tendency has been obvious for a very long time.

We should never forget how the BBC has changed this country by giving endless airtime to Nigel Farage and other rightwing extremists, while shutting out progressive voices.

And why is #r4today giving (yet again) such prominence to a hair-brained scheme that has little chance to ever be implemented? A GE is unlikely soon and the threat of Reform winning it is apparently receding. What is the justification for legitimising it?
