A photo of (very likely )common blue butterfly - still roosting on a burnet in front of the rising sun. Through using a long macro lens and open aperture the sun appears as a big orange disc behind the butterfly. The tones in the photo range from violet to orange - on this hazy early morning.

10 years to the day since I took what is probably my most acclaimed image. Caister, Norfolk 2015. #photography #landscape #seascape

A long exposure of a zig-zag groyne on the beach at Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk. The image had long streaks of white water as a wave draws back into the sea.

This image was awarded the Adobe Prize in the 2016 Landscape Photographer of the Year award and featured in several national newspapers and websites.
