Based purely on observations while walking, the New Town private gardens are rarely busy. Surely, catchment areas can be expanded to provide more refuge to residents? It would bring in more income and serve more than a privileged community. I speak as a slightly bitter resident of Leslie Place

Your readers may like to know, re bus shelter cleaning: JCDecaux shelters in the City Centre are cleaned weekly. Outwith the city centre once every 2 weeks. They're cleaned by JCDecaux. All other Council shelters are supposedly cleaned once/56 days; currently sub-contracted from JCDecaux to Mitie.
