I've missed late night trains! Drunk women are belting out I Dreamed A Dream. I am shocked by every single line as I learn what they think the lyrics are. Only one of them was brave enough to belt the final high note. "Oh my God you can SING 🥹🥹🥹" said one of the others. (She can't, really.)

We all do things at a different pace. It must have taken me 6 years between my first piano lesson and passing Grade 1. Anyway, after 14 and a half years of performing standup comedy, I have been given the Pegasus Award for Best Newcomer.

Doctor Who! The 90s! Two of my favourite things! I'd be so excited for this book even if I wasn't one of the writers for it. And Philip Purser-Hallard's book will be great too.

I'm told the Edinburgh Comedy Awards are sending a scout to my show tonight. If you're at the Fringe, come along and laugh! And cheer! And say things like "if only we lived in a world where this show earned the award it so clearly deserves"!
