We’re protesting outside the Broadview ICE facility and an agent came out to tell us to go away. We said we’re exercising our First Amendment rights so he shot the ground with pepper balls and said, “Your First Amendment rights are on the sidewalk.”

It should be needless to say, but it is perhaps at this moment worth saying, that transgender individuals have the same right as anyone else to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I think autistic people are often mistaken for being argumentative or needing to be right when, in reality, it's more about FEELING right and needing the other person to understand WHY.
I will literally rephrase my point a thousand ways until I feel like you understand where I'm coming from. I'm not being argumentative for the sake of being argumentative. I'm desperately trying to get on the same page as you, but my brain literally won't let me drop it until I feel understood.
