I'm not going to be relitigating COVID lockdowns or mask mandates. Both were necessary measures that saved lives. If you cannot accept the curtailing of even the minor of freedoms in the name of public safety, you have demonstrated that you do not give a solitary fuck about the rest of us.
This isn't a labor problem! The Dodgers leveraged having the best farm system in baseball and traded an insanely good prospect! There's nothing about this trade that a salary cap would solve unless you want to ban the Dodgers from making moves

Competitive balance is not the reason they want a salary cap. They just want to spend less, and with more predictability, on total payroll. That is all.

Casual reminder that the original plan for Ben Shapiro's "Lady Ballers" was for it to be an undercover documentary where dudes sign up to compete in women's sports, only to find out that places that allow trans athletes to compete actually have rules and standards.
