Storms on workdays are fun. Weather in the Puget Sound tends to move west to east, and I'm one of the furthest west WFH employees in the area, so when the storm blows in I get to go, "Oo storm" in the work chat and then watch everyone else chime one by one in over the next 2 hours as it reaches them

Laudatory feedback never goes amiss. And it tends to spur on more of the stuff you like. Now maybe a friend, a peer, or a recognized critic can assume their critique is welcome. Maybe. Not everyone's gonna like your stuff. That's cool. I assume most people don't. Luckily, I don't make it for them.

There is a horror-movie screenwriter on here that I follow. One of his movies delightfully surprised me and made me a fan. I saw the sequel and it didn’t land for me. Guess what I will say if we meet? “Dude I loved (movie 1)….” Nothing gained by anyone talking about 2. Tell creators what you love.

....oh my God there was a raccoon. It came right up to the sliding glass door and stared at Sandy. And Sandy, Mr. Scaredy Cat who dives for his hiding place under the bed at the slightest disturbance, stood his ground behind the glass and hissed at it. Don't think it did anything but. Still. #cats
