The people making this movie found the time and effort to - find out there was a train line called the Railrunner - convince them to use it for filming - Use an enormous amount of CGI - Fight off all attempts to do it somewhere else All for a joke about 5 people will get. Enormous respect for them

It's Mr. Coyote on the front of a speeding train, the New Mexico Railrunner.
Lucky bugger gets to go to Albuqurque, from the Weird Al Yankovic song Albuquerque.
Or Santa Fe, for some adobe overload.

Stunning display of motornormativity here from the BBC. No, they are not "closing down streets" - if they were doing that they would be shut off from everyone. Rather, they are changing who is using the space. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Listen, I've been campaigning in an election here in the UK and every out of touch pensioner whose brain is cooked on Facebook slop has already postal voted 3 weeks before polling day. Please if you value the place you live, and policies for the actual times you're living through go out and vote.

NEW: Young people are on the ballot this election, but can we please get young people to the ballot BOX? So far, King County voters 65+ account for 4 times as many ballots as people under 35. You have until 8pm Tuesday to close that gap!

That's what taxes are, man. That's the definition of taxes. "You are subsidizing things you might never use" man shut the fuck up. My taxes currently subsidize like oil company exec private jets, you think I'm upset at low-income people eating inexpensive bananas?

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

If you're going to reverse backwards across a pedestrian crossing because you got caught out by the lights could you fucking check nobody is crossing the road ffs. Also you're in the fucking junction already, proceed.
