A major driving force behind the planned discontinuation of the NAM and HREF models was to clear computing time for the upgraded GFS, which is now delayed by a year. I hope that @noaa.gov extends the lifetime of the NAM and HREF by a year since the GFS upgrade has been delayed. 1/6

Just audited my server logs due to a sudden spike in bandwidth costs. Turned out to be a vibe-coded application scraping 153 radar sites using a single $14.99 @weatherpulse.com subscription for their "Pro" users that they charge $7/mo. Come on ya'll, don't be jerks.

METARs are now back to being directly ingested from the FAA. We take the "fastest path" approach so that these reach you as quickly as possible while maintaining redundancy. Latency for SPECIs is greatly reduced by this change. Once we have metrics we will share them with you.

Im playing with traffic cameras cycling through along with the OMOs. They seem the most relevant along with a GOES Meso region (or 2 in the case of 30s). Either way, plenty of data to play with here if anyone wants to toy around with a SDEF.

I almost forgot (I forgot) one of the most important ones. * One-Minute Observations. We are exploring having these streamed to our integration partners but at this time have successfully introduced it to Weather Pulse Maps during testing.

We've fully developed our Weather Pulse Maps based on our new model processing. * Full-Resolution data products end-to-end * Traffic cameras * Alerts from Hazards * Full-global models #3 * Tropical Cyclone #4 * Single-site NEXRAD #2 * Single/Dual/Quad-pane, take your pick #1/#2 www.weatherpulse.com
