Rob Sheridan@rob-sheridan.com · 3w agoJimothy is the big star in Seattle, but down here in Tacoma we had our own appropriately grittier urban wildlife mascot, "Jawless Jerry," aka the Hilltop Chupacabra, a ragged disfigured outlaw coyote who was sighted throughout 2023 doing crimes & surviving against all odds, inspiring fanart & merch.
I remember being allowed to watch The Matrix on an old laptop when I was 10, in ‘03 or ‘04. When it finished, I went and sat in silence on our back deck. My dad came out after a bit and said “yeah I also needed to Be Outside after I saw that movie.” And then we talked about how awesome it was.

I finally asked my mom (I couldn't remember), and she told me it was The Lost Boys when I was roughly the same age as my daughter (about 9). The movie traumatized her more than it did me, apparently
