** As it's being discoursed: I do not use any generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude et. al.) at any stage in my writing process. I write because I enjoy writing. I enjoy the challenge of expressing an idea, or character, or setting in such short form and tell a story with them. It's all human made. **

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

My unvaccinated brother died of COVID in 2021. I was about a year and a half into my epidemiology career. Healthcare staff did absolutely everything they could but they cannot cure ignorance. They cannot cure an anti-science belief and culture. Thats YOUR responsibility. Not Dr. Fauci’s.
