Open AI has hired Chuck Schumer's daughter to help them with government relations. I don’t like it one bit, and this kind of thing is a big part of the reason top Democrats have done such a poor job of turning the Trump family’s far more extreme corruption into an election issue.
Anyhow, it seems to me as a voter, the biggest concern about the proposed final rule is that the rule compromises ballot secrecy by letting USPS know which voters return ballot they are mailing back to the state election officials. That seems like it provides a huge opportunity for mischief.
Learning to come to terms with your own mortality and impermanence will give you a power of calm that no billionaire fascist will ever be able to achieve.
Let's hope they tell their stories through prison bars.

Shared a fifth floor walk-up studio that, when it rained, had more leaks in the ceiling than we had pots and pans. We used to get drunk and smoke off the fire escape and do “sad-offs.”

Chauvin was, in fact, the cause of Floyd’s death. He used a technique that MPD and most other agencies have banned, specifically because it causes death. And the crime for which he was convicted is unintentional second-degree murder, which by definition does not require intent to kill.

Hakeem Jeffries cannot become speaker in 2027. It would be a colossal waste of power and opportunity for Dems to elevate him again. They need to choose someone stronger and preferably isn’t to the right of the vast majority of American voters on healthcare.
