Jaws is my favorite film so I’m happy we get any figures from it, but it sucks we apparently can never get a Brody due to licensing issues with Scheider’s estate. Today’s toy is Mythic Legions Baron Volligar v2 by the Four Horsemen (2020). Grumpy old vampire. The original Volligar figure was just a repainted armored knight, but this one is a wrinkly scarred old vamp with a furry scarf. The many Mythic Legion vamps can get kinda samey but this guy stands out.

Today’s toy is Marvel Legends Orb by Hasbro (2023). I know nothing about this guy and I shan’t be learning any more. I only know he is an eye man. Not much to say about this guy beyond his giant eye head. He falls over a lot. Not sure if the eye is the reason for the lack of balance but probably!

Today’s toy is the Galoob Action Fleet Star Wars TIE Interceptor (1996). One of my favorites Star Wars ships. This one comes with two mini pilots, and a tiny Easter egg in the form of George Lucas’s head under one of the helmets. Though mine is painted so terribly it’s totally unrecognizable.

Today’s toy is Del the Ghost from Superplastic’s Gorillaz Blind Box toys (2021). As a huge Gorillaz fan, I gobble up any merch I can, and was able to grab a bunch of blind boxes before they became impossible to get. Also a huge Del the Funky Homosapien fan so this is right up my alley. And he glows!

Today’s toy is actually 3 toys, each released separately, but seems a shame to split them: Shenzi, Banzai & Ed, the hyenas from Mattel’s Lion King line. Shenzi & Banzai were fairly easy to get in 1994, but Ed was only found in a box set exclusive to Disney parks. I got him much later on eBay.

Today’s toy is the Star Wars Black Series Hoth Wampa by Hasbro (2014). Originally released in a 2 pack with Hoth Luke Skywalker (not the one pictured here, which is the Archive repaint). Later re-released in 2020 in Kenner vintage style packaging without the bloody mouth. Arm comes off! Gruesome.

Good-faith concern on this issue would be going, "hmm, professional sports leagues should probably have some standards in place to ensure trans competitors aren't getting an unfair advantage," googling for 5 minutes, realizing every sports league already has those standards and dropping it.
