lol Chelsea didn’t have any players above 29 and now they’re signing Welbz (😔) and Henderson. Will they get 8 year deals, too?
PSG promoting their own ‘rational financial management’ while on the same day placing a £150m price tag on (who they presumably regard as) an inferior player, all while sitting on a platform created through an injection of billions…
🚨 Paris Saint-Germain has this evening formally withdrawn its interest in and bids for Yan Diomande. PSG will not break its principles of rational financial management and squad balance. ⚪️🔜 Diomande has decided to join Real Madrid and the move will be completed next week.
It’s a good thing Spain won then, no joy for the mediocre!

Spain’s Nico Williams gave his mother, Maria, his World Cup winner’s medal after Sunday’s final ❤️💛 Nico's parents trekked some 2,000 miles across the Sahara from Ghana to Spain as refugees. Now, their son is a world champion 🥹

Paredes with a red card offence post whistle after his 22 non given yellows
I’ve never ever felt more quarter Spanish (mi abuela) than today! VAMOS ESPAÑA! And we have 3 gunners there 🙂
Later today: “The White House FIFA Task Force is honoured to present our very own Folarin Balogun with the Golden Boot!”
It isn’t the White House task force’s role to decide these matters. It’s FIFA’s rule. But I supposed FIFA has for the past 6 weeks become a branch of the federal government so …
It’s not just his output Saka is also brilliant defensively Him not playing any part on Wednesday is an absolute joke
This is precisely as stupid as the third/fourth-place play-off should be. Well done to all involved.
I just can’t believe a coach as astute in game as Tuchel could so spectacularly mess up. Clearly he did. How could you think that the right plan down to 10 men in the Azteca or in Miami heat would work when it meant giving every attacking third touch to the best forward ever?
Tuchel has got (most of) his changes spot on this tournament but everyone could see where this game was going and he did nothing to change it. He even doubled down with the defensive changes. There was only one winner once Argentina equalised. No chance to change the game.
Loved that Tuchel interview. Not good enough. Get better. Win the lot
If an England player makes that foul we’re all calling him stupid (I know I would). Quite surprised they overturned it.
