how many taxi/bus rides should i skip to make up for my e-bike conversion kit...? or even a small fake car like ami or topolino....? hate maths. why is money made of numbers? can't it be made of songs? then i can just sing it all the time and be happy. so unfair.

i am bad at hills. the speed drop is immediate and my legs hurt. i already have pretty good hilly gears... all electric conversion kits look dodgy to me even the nicely branded ones...

record of my HORSE SUMMER currently trying all outdoorsy stuff after three decades of being neurotic indoor introvert - first adult bicycle at age 30 - first overnight camping last month at age 30+ - renounced reading last month! my first riding lesson just happened a week ago and more are coming

cycling between north west-east edinburgh was pleasant and convenient! thanks to the extensive segregated bike lanes, i was able to cycle to decathlon from leith to pick out some stuff in person without spending extra on transport & enjoying the season & getting some exercise! three in one 🌼🚲

learn from my mistake: before visiting trossachs area for the first time, all i cared about was midges, weather, and the view. but it is essential to consider the distance from major roads. motorcycles are constant and very loud on A84 and adjacent roads

my favourite traveling method is walking rather than cycling really. i just believe having more bicycles rather than more cars would make walking more pleasant. i desperately need some good, green, car-free, quiet and wider (for walkers) streets.

My impression of Voi shared eBike in Edinburgh after a few commutes: 1) very good availability 2) a bit expensive and pass pricing needs strategies (not ideal) 3) minimal physical effort needed - easy to flow with motor traffic without enraging drivers 4) very bumpy; luggage insecure in the basket
