For reasons I do not understand, this burger shop in Toronto is still open two years after I snapped this pic of their backlit AI slop 4-foot tall poster.
Hey man, maybe just make the sandwiches and take a pic of them.
I'll be Frank with you 🇨🇦

what a privilege it is to live in Toronto sometimes. Seeing a Christopher Nolan film, on film, for the 3rd day in a row.
As the sun set Friday night, the lantern parade began, winding around Ward's Island before reaching the beach fire finale. 🎭"Fight or Flight" by Shadowland Theatre.

Spotted out the bus window on the way to see The Dark Knight Rises 😄
Friday night on Wards Island there was a joyous celebration of the win, with Mayor Chow leading a chant of "NO JETS!" before we paraded and later burned a jet effigy on the beach while paper mache Doug Ford and his cronies seethed. "Fight or Flight" by Shadowland Theatre, celebrating its 39th year.
I saw the red moon rising over the lake from Ward's Island Beach but couldn't get a good picture. Laurel did.
When I went to the lake this evening, I hoped I might spot another firefly. No luck, but it was a lovely view once again, though I paid for it in mosquito bites. The passing cars at the top of the hill bleed light across the trees, making it tricky to capture the stunning red of the rising moon.
Buying a ferry ticket in advance was the pro move. Perfect start to the long weekend.

As we celebrate Biidaasige Park's opening, a quick look at the designs that didn't win. The winning design by MVVA is very recognizable in the park we got: the meandering river, the big park on the harbour, and a focus on keeping the Keating Channel while naturalizing the harbour and river. 🧵
It will always be Main Sewage Treatment Playground in our heart of hearts.
Councillor Paula Fletcher's motion to rename the Main Sewage Treatment Playground to "Ashbridge’s Bay Sports Hub" CARRIES via show of hands. Wait, what was wrong with the old name. secure.toronto.ca/council/agen...
I saw the houses that walk like men running from the evil Condozer during the Kensington Market solstice parade!

Terry Fox would've turned 68 today. Beside the word "hero" in every dictionary, there should be a photo of Terry Fox. One stop for him on his Marathon of Hope was throwing out the first pitch at a Jays game at Exhibition Stadium on July 11, 1980. Photo: Jann Van Horne, CP
Spadina Subway Station, Kendal avenue entrance, Toronto. Also known as the Norman B. Gash House. One of the cutest subway entrances in the city.
Something different. This is a multi-image #panorama of a rainbow made with a full spectrum camera and a 550nm filter. I mean why not. #photography #landscape #ECK #infrared #fullspectrum #fauxcolor #rainbows #clouds
the sky gods are angry today. We had too much fun on the weekend and must atone. #dlws
