We live in a society that punishes people who are assaulted. We question them, we shame them, we disbelieve them. Many survivors instinctively do that societal work for us. Survivors question themselves, they shame themselves, they don't believe their own version of events. We've trained them!

It can take hours, days, months, and even years to realize you were raped, and it doesn’t make it any less true. There are many kinds of responses, including fawning and trying to appease your rapist

I also believe in restorative justice but I don't think that means you get to become a pillar of a community and garner an audience and an income that relies solely on everyone including yourself staying silent about your actions. In the VIDEO GAME SPHERE no less.
I have tried avoiding it as much as I possibly can, but the fact that the Lindsay Clancy case ever went to trial is abominable. Cruel beyond belief.
